This activity book was designed to help improve the ability of all children to recognize emotions and facial expressions. This book focuses on the eight most universal facial expressions: happy, sad, afraid, angry, disgusted, surprised, ashamed and interested. Each emotion section starts with a clear and concise “Face Clues” page which simply explains how the mouth, eyes, and eyebrows change when a person experiences and expresses different emotions. Each emotion is also illustrated using both black and white headshots and representational drawings of various faces throughout the book. Not only will this book boost a child’s knowledge of facial expressions and there corresponding emotions, but it will also entertain with activities such as: coloring, how to draw, create your own story, word search, and match the face to the emotion.
